While operating a home-based Dog Daycare/Overnight Boarding business for four years, and managing up to ten dogs/daily, I practiced a way of ‘being/communicating’ with dogs without ‘formally training them all’. All dogs were walked twice daily, were not barking at fence-lines and lived harmoniously without conflict. Most individuals are familiar with Cesar Milan, but Doggy Dan, an Australian Dog Trainer, shares a version of Dog Psychology that is not based on Alpha Rolls, Psychological Intimidation or Physical force (Total 1-Hour). While I have never followed the Pack Theory of 'eating first', his other recommendations are both humane and easy to implement.
