She/Her
Hi! My name is Jane Peppler. When I was younger I struggled to fit in and often felt alone, and at the time having undiagnosed Autism and ADHD didn't help either. I would just end up drawing by myself most of the day so I started to turn to characters from primarily animated TV shows and movies to relate to. That really helped me as I was a bit less lonely knowing there was someone who felt the same even if they were fictional. This led to me finding a huge interest in art, film and theatre.
I've loved making art and drawing for as long as I could remember, and started animating when I was around 12 years old. This on top of my love for theatre and film, I was led me to attending an arts and tech secondary school. While there I took many art of different mediums and animation classes. for extra curricular work I made costumes and props for my schools theatre program, as well as digital advertisements and posters for the leadership program. To end off my high school animation era, for my grade 12 capstone I created my first animated short film demo called Mask, a film representing my experience growing up neurodivergent.
Now I am creating my own animated shows. I want to create characters and stories so everyone can have at least someone they can see themselves in or relate to similar experiences.
