Now Relocated to New York City!
We’re the duo behind Janelle & Andy Photography — capturing timeless, natural moments that feel genuine and effortless.
Originally established in Northern Virginia, now based in New York City, we’re here to bring your vision to life through thoughtful, relaxed storytelling.
One of our first dates was a photo adventure — driving around, taking pictures of each other, and bonding over our shared love for photography.
What started as something fun quickly turned into something we truly care about — capturing real moments for others in a way that feels meaningful, natural, and genuine.
When we’re not behind the camera, Andy works as a registered nurse in NYC, and Janelle works as a professional newborn photographer in while pursuing a new graduate registered nurse position in NYC.
We’re passionate about caring for others, and that carries into how we approach photography — with intention, patience, and heart.
In our free time, we love exploring new places, planning photo adventures, shopping, and enjoying a good matcha!
We focus on real, unscripted moments that reflect your true self.
Our sessions are relaxed, fun, and easygoing, allowing your personality to shine through while we capture timeless imagery. We love working with light in all its forms—from soft natural light indoors and outdoors to intentional flash and artificial lighting—creating images that feel authentic, dimensional, and true to you.
Real, unscripted moments that show your truest selves.
Relaxed sessions that let your personality shine.
Timeless edits with soft tones and natural light.
We’d love to capture your next moment!
