About Me
Hello! I am a tenure-track assistant professor in the department of mathematics and statistics at the University of Maine. Previously, I was a Zorn postdoctoral fellow at Indiana University Bloomington. I received my PhD in 2019 from MIT under the supervision of Curtis McMullen from Harvard.
I am broadly interested in geometry and dynamical systems, especially the geometry and dynamics of translation surfaces, dilation surfaces, and their moduli spaces. Recently, some of topics that I have been thinking about are the moduli spaces of complex affine and dilation surfaces, slope gap distributions of translation surfaces, and the language complexity of billiards.
