Jane Ivy Coons
Hello! I am currently a Supernumerary Teaching Fellow in Mathematics at St John's College at the University of Oxford. I am a member of the Univeristy of Oxford Mathematical Institute's Algebraic Systems Biology and OCIAM research groups. My research interests are in algebra, geometry and combinatorics, and their applications to statistics and biology. In April 2023, I received the L'Oreal-UNESCO UK and Ireland For Women in Science Rising Talent Award. I completed my PhD in Mathematics in May 2021 at North Carolina State University under the direction of Seth Sullivant.
