Experience and Competence  

Evi treated her first patient in 1993 at the age of 16 or 17. The patient was a 40-year-old man who lost the use of his legs after a severe spinal injury caused by an accident. By 2023, Evi's practice had reached its 30-year milestone. Since around 2000, in addition to osteopathic cases, she has successfully practiced herbal medicine and treated internal diseases. From 2016 onwards, we have meticulously recorded all therapeutic sessions in a calendar. Our calculations indicate that during the period of 2017-2018, over 5,000 hours of therapy were provided, with approximately 2,000 patients treated.

Education  

Evi's education began with 10 years of training on Java under the guidance of her father and local guru teachers, followed by studies and a five-year apprenticeship as a therapist with the Indonesian National Youth Karate Team. This practice provided her with an in-depth understanding of anatomy and the interconnections within the human body. She later ran her own alternative therapy clinic in a state hospital in Banyuwangi. Those who think Evi is just a village healer are sorely mistaken.

Evi graduated from university in 1998 in Bali with a Master’s degree in Economics.

Current Practice in 2024

Evi Sudarto is an osteopath and manual therapist based in Bali. She is also a herbalist and phytotherapist, successfully treating both internal diseases and conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, such as intervertebral hernias and cervical osteochondrosis.

Her expertise includes post-traumatic rehabilitation, postpartum recovery, osteopathy for adults and children, kinesiology taping, visceral therapy, Hijama according to Sunnah, and herbal treatment with capsules (herbalism).

Since 2021, Evi has primarily conducted home visits, which significantly enhances treatment effectiveness through appropriate patient rest post-session and a focused, highly individualized approach to diagnosis and treatment planning.

Work with Students, Training

Since 2017, Evi has been accepting students for courses in Javanese therapeutic massage and extended courses in osteopathy, Hijama, and manual therapy. Graduates receive an electronic certificate registered on this website (since 2023). Comprehensive support and online consultation for practicing students are provided upon completion of training.

In many cases, health issues can be improved by the patient independently through adjustments in diet, routine, and habits, as well as by performing specific relaxation exercises.
