Space Shooter is an arcade style game in which the player pilots a space ship and has to dodge and shoot incoming enemies and obstacles. The game only ends when the player dies, and your goal is to beat your previous high score!

This game was a project for my SGD 213 (Programming 2) class. I was tasked to include the basic components of the game, like a basic space ship that can shoot, health bar for the player, obstacles, as well as a main menu. I had a lot of fun going above and beyond the requirements of the assignment, and included various things like:
Various Particle and Lighting effects
Scrolling Background
Loading Screen in between scenes
Sliding Ui Bars (for health and power-up timers) that smoothly move over time (rather than instantly change in one frame)
Player ship code based animation (using Vectors based on player input)
