Poppy finds refuge in her passion for art when she finds herself in a mental health spiral, with the endless praise and validation being the only thing stopping her from going over the edge When a life-changing opportunity arises, Poppy reaches crisis point. After taking the time to get better, she finds her art begins to change. People miss her old style. The opportunities fizzle out. But Poppy is the happiest she’s been in a long time and she realises the joy and satisfaction she feels now is worth more than anyone’s validation of her talent.
