Jamie is also a visual artist, delving into sewing, horror sfx makeup, photography, drawing, scanography, pixel art, animation, and so much more.
From a city of uncertainty, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Jamie Talbot has woven ethereal dissonance into her many musical works. She is both author and composer — from the poetically profound to the cleverly comedic. Jamie enjoys a wide range of audio pleasures, from the classical-adjacent she performs live in her community to the surreal and uneasy experiences she mixes for her short animations. She incorporates her knowledge of numerous instruments, including piano, drums, rain drum, kalimba, and more. Jamie participated in the Canadian Musicians Cooperative Pre-Professional Program in 2025, where she delivered community engaged performances on cajon and keyboard. Today, Jamie continues to explore new artforms and combine her skills for a mixed media approach. Within her visual arts minor, she has been trained in photography, drawing, and printmaking. On top of her musical endeavors Jamie is also a writer and visual artist, diving deep into the dark horrors of sfx zombie makeup and the bright light that blasts into her eyes creating scanography stop motion animations. She tends to take an experimental approach, drafting her own sewing patterns, mixing her own fake blood, and staging many of her own drawing references. Within and between artforms, Jamie never ceases her exploration.
