I serve as a Patient Ambassador on the Maternal/Child, Pediatrics, and NICU at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley. My priority tasks include: tending to patient/family needs, organizing medical supplies, discharging patients, and transporting lab specimens. Through this position, I have greatly strengthened my time management skills. All the nurses and staff I have interacted with are all friendly and encouraging! 

I volunteer within San Mateo Medical Center's Surgical Specialty Clinic. I had the opportunity of shadowing RNs throughout their morning shift, passing out Covid-19 test kits, and restocking patient rooms. A significant portion of my time was spent creating medical folders filled with documents that patients are required to sign and review prior to having surgery. 

I volunteered at the Creekview Health Center, a senior assisted living facility comprised of several departments, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation. I had the opportunity to rotate between each unit. During my assisted living rotation, I facilitated and engaged in activities with the residents and transported them anywhere they needed to go. In memory care, I engaged with dementia and Alzheimer's patients through interactive activities to keep their minds active. I assisted in morning stretches and exercises with patients in the skilled nursing department.
