I serve as a Patient Ambassador on the Maternal/Child unit at Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley. My priority tasks include: discharging patients, replenishing supply carts/crib drawers, transporting lab specimens, creating lactation kits, arranging postpartum rooms for post-op patients, and tending to patient/family needs. I collaborate with all RNs and CNAs to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment. Through this position, I have greatly strengthened my time management skills. 

I volunteered within San Mateo Medical Center's Surgical Specialty Clinic. I had the opportunity of shadowing RNs, passing out Covid-19 test kits, restocking patient rooms, and assisting in hygiene auditing. A significant portion of my time was spent organizing consent form documents that patients are required to sign and review prior to having surgery. 

SMMC's Surgical Specialty Clinic is comprised of the following specialties: Ear Nose Throat (ENT), Podiatry, Dental, Optometry, Vascular, and Orthopedics. 

I volunteered at the Creekview Health Center, a senior assisted living facility comprised of several departments, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation. I rotate between each unit throughout my shifts. During my assisted living rotation, I facilitated activities for the residents and transported them anywhere they needed to go. In memory care, I engaged with dementia and Alzheimer's patients through interactive activities to keep their minds active. I assisted in morning stretches and exercises with patients in the skilled nursing department.
