I am an educational developer and applied linguist.

As an educational developer, I am committed to supporting faculty with developing effective teaching skills. I am a strong advocate for promoting an inclusive and equitable learning environment in which participants’ identities, backgrounds, and experiences are acknowledged and respected.

As an applied linguist, I conduct research on classroom discourse and language pedagogy and, more generally, on language use and social interaction. I aim to uncover and explicate the norms and practices of teaching and learning in various language contexts.
