I snapped this image when I spent time waiting in front of the Philippine Arena to see Stray Kids perform their concert. The lengthy waiting period had everyone in the line full of enthusiasm. A faint rainbow emerged above the arena so I stood there to capture it with my camera. Nature seemed to join the concert excitement at that precise instant when I took this photo.

The lighting of this photo turned out exceptionally well which stands out to me as its best feature. The golden illumination that falls on the Philippine Arena expands its appealing appearance while the sky transforms into a breathtaking sight. A technically perfect combination of warm and soft blue lighting results in pleasing visual contrast. The rainbow emerges subtly in the photo which creates a sense of uniqueness that enhances the photo's special quality. The photo emerged unexpectedly which made it seem magical because I had not planned for it.

The background would be improved by reducing the number of people who appeared in the foreground. Many people in the picture produce an effect of chaos while they effectively display the event's lively atmosphere. The arena along with the rainbow would stand out more prominently when there were fewer people in the stadium. Nevertheless, the photo delivers an authentic portrayal of what it felt to experience that moment in person. These imperfections enhance the authenticity of the photo making them significant in ways I appreciate.

I view this image now with contentment about its overall outcome. The photo provides a reasonable blend of lighting quality subject matter and composition style. The image brings back memories of pre-concert excitement which gives it personal value for me.

I photographed this scene at a flower farm in Baguio which provided panoramic views of mountains in the distance. As soon as I laid eyes on that landscape I understood I had to photograph it. The sea of clouds floating above the peaks drew my absolute attention because it created a serene and dreamlike atmosphere. The natural scene appeared so beautiful that all users needed to do was take a picture at that point.

I am most drawn to this photograph because all elements unite perfectly between flowers and mountains and sky. The colorful flowers in the leading position of the picture create an energetic ambiance that enhances the outstanding view. The combination of flower colors with deep blue hills and soft cloud white produces a vivid contrast effect. Despite the flowers providing stability to the image, the open sky gives it an open peaceful quality.

To improve the image I would move the position slightly to minimize the presence of background people. Without people in the composition, the image would appear even more tranquil although the visitors help demonstrate this area's popularity. An image taken at dawn might have enhanced the photo's tranquility since many people were not present to distract from the peaceful nature.

The final image satisfies me because I am completely pleased with its outcome. The photo teaches me about nature's beauty which leads me to value such peaceful moments more deeply. Technical excellence does not determine the best photographs because the photos that evoke emotions take precedence over everything else. And this one, for me, captures the beauty and tranquility of that day in Baguio perfectly.
