Teaching

I am passionate about experiential learning, and I am currently responsible for the year-long experiential learning course for first-year MBA students at Willamette University.  In this course, students gain experience working in teams on real projects for clients. I also have experience teaching classes that focus on strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, and advanced data analytics.

In my teaching, I often integrate my work experience prior to pursuing a Ph.D., which was primarily in applying advanced quantitative (data) analysis to strategic marketing and supply chain decisions. This was done in various positions including: at a Fortune 500 company, as a consultant, and at a dotcom software startup.

Courses Taught:

PACE (Practical applications and career exploration)

Willamette Angel Fund (MBA Student Investment Fund)

Competitive Strategy and Industrial Structure (MBA and undergraduate elective with a focus on advanced data analytics)
