For as long as I can remember, art has always been a way for me to process the outside world and interact with people around me. Even when I wasn’t conscious of it, I always found a way to make the world, and people I saw, more digestible to understand by breaking them down into lines and shapes. Growing up, my siblings and I grew up watching old VHS tapes and cartoons. Many of the things we would watch would be Disney movies, Care Bears, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon day in and day out.
These shows and movies are what drive my work, where that's my painting or these original character designs that I've come up with and have been improving year after year since I was 12!
