I am James Hyde, a postdoc at the University of Copenhagen with Magdalena Musat.  Earlier I was a postdoc at Cornell under Justin Moore.  I got my PhD at the University of St Andrews under Collin Bleak and Nik Ruskuc.

I mainly study infinite groups.  I am interested in groups of homeomorphisms, finite generation, finite presentation, simplicity and orderability.  See my CV for links to my papers.
