Hailing from South Wales, James Goodwin is a 21 year old Singer/Songwriter who recently moved to London to pursue music after spending his teenage years honing his artistry. He offers a unique contribution to the world of Indie Pop with compelling and euphonious yet raw songs, heightened by his strong but comforting vocal tone and distinctive melodic hooks. James takes influence from artists such as Tom Grennan, Lewis Capaldi, and JC Stewart whilst staying authentic with a less commercial, more personable approach to his brand. James has carved out a strong online presence and utilised this when working on his first releases. Collaborating with Horizon Blue and Will Rumens, James featured on his first track; ‘ALIVE’ which garnered over 1,000,000 streams and was added to Spotify’s Tropical House Playlist. James followed this success with the release of his debut single ‘AWARE’, which was featured as track of the day on BBC Introducing South as well as having multiple spins on BBC Radio Surrey and Amazing Radio. James is currently building his catalogue of songs with the hopes of releasing an EP in 2023.
