Born to a craft teacher and an emergency room nurse aid, Jamesetta was surrounded by creativity and compassion from an early age. But her creative journey truly began after years of working as a journalist in her home country- Liberia and with the homeless population in South King County, WA. These roles taught her empathy, resilience, and the power of service. Seeking relief from burnout, she returned to her roots through sewing, crafting, and digital design.
That simple creative escape became the foundation of her brand, YET Faith Creative—a platform that teaches others how to blend creativity, faith, and technology to create more magic in less time while connecting them & highlighting their stories.
From Creativity to Purpose
Growing up in a country impacted by civil war, navigating single motherhood, and immigrating to the U.S., gave Jamesetta a deep understanding of perseverance. Those experiences, paired with her love for design and teaching, fuel her mission to help others overcome fear, embrace creativity, and build lasting legacies.
Through her Creative Elementary Community on Skool, YouTube tutorials, and her Save My Local Business initiative, she empowers aspiring creators and entrepreneurs- especially those from underserved backgrounds to explore their talents, build confidence, and turn ideas into income.
Building Legacies Through Creativity and AI
Jamesetta believes creativity is more than self-expression- it’s a tool for transformation. Her teachings emphasize both skills and mindset, helping people use AI and digital design to elevate their craft, scale faster, and achieve freedom.
As an African immigrant entrepreneur and creative educator, Jamesetta continues to bridge the gap between traditional art and modern technology, inspiring others to design with purpose and lead with faith.
Her message to every creator:
“Find your little light and let it shine.”
