I am an assistant professor at University of Houston - C. T. Bauer College of Business. My research interests include Bayesian Econometrics, Text Analysis, Forecasting, Machine Learning, Asset Pricing with Learning, FinTech, and Real Estate. My papers have been published in journals in finance and statistics such as Journal of Financial Economics and Journal of Royal Statistical Society. I earned an MS in Statistics, an MBA, and a PhD in Econometrics and Statistics from University of Chicago. I have professional experience in architectural design, construction, accounting, project management, and business process re-engineering prior to pursuing my PhD. Every morning I enjoy meditation, yoga, running, reading, cooking, or Kayaking.
