James D. Reid (Ph.D., University of Chicago) is a Professor of Philosophy at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. He writes and teaches on ethics, aesthetics, philosophy of literature and film, with historical interests in European philosophy from Kant through Heidegger, including German idealism and romanticism, and American philosophy and literature. He is series co-founder and editor of Bloomsbury Studies in Philosophy and Poetry.
