Wire Frames With Model Underneath Base Model Wire frame no model
Technical Summary
The face and head were easily the most challenging part of this model and the concept art had even more detail that had to be modified to suit a shortened timeline. The main concern was maintain good topological flow as overlapping faces and angons were conisstant problems during the development of this section of the model.
Technical Summary
For this section of the model I had been notified by the animators in the develop team that my current path would make the model challenging to rig. I made the decision to modify how the model followed concept art to allow for this rigging as simple and efficient as possible.
Technical Summary
As shown by the concept art the limbs of the humanoid were shown to have large gouges spaced unevenly throughout the body. This was directly tied back to the narrative and the characters origin as they were fatally injured, causing such horrific damage.
Technical Summary
This was the core refinement of the model to give it depth showing minor damage and accentuating the skeletal features. This does also adds significant amount of detail and depth to the character while maintaining while being simple and easy to include given the timeline.
