Hailing from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Jamail is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator whose music blends elements of jazz fusion and progressive metal. His work often features his performances on piano, bass guitar, trumpet, or EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument).

His experience as a jazz fusion bandleader and frequent performer informs his understanding of how music functions in real time, serving as a strong foundation to his approach to video games and other forms of interactive and experiential media.

As an educator, he provides instruction on each of his instruments in addition to various concepts in music theory, including ear training, improvisation, and practical skills in musicianship.
