The Jamaica Foundation of Houston held a virtual Jamaica Independence Celebration on Saturday, July 31st, celebrating Jamaica’s 59th Year of Independence. Jamaican born artist Lenya Lisa Wilks shared her musical talent, which covers several genres; Reggae/R&B/Pop/Alternative.

The Foundation was honored to have the Jamaica Consul General, Hon. Oliver Mair, share a message for Jamaica’s 59th Year of Independence. Special thanks to Jose Grinan, news anchor for FOX 26 KRIV and longtime supporter of the Jamaica Foundation of Houston, who hosted our 2021 Jamaica Independence Celebration!
