The app uses Android’s Nearby Connections feature to enable offline multiplayer gameplay via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
This requires access to Approximate Location permission.
Location data is not used to track you.
The permission is used only to discover nearby devices.
This data is processed temporarily in memory and is never stored, transmitted, or shared.
We do not collect or store:
IMEI
Device serial numbers
Advertising IDs
Any persistent device identifiers
All game-related data (including chess puzzles, engine analysis using Stockfish, and tournament progress) is stored locally on your device only.
We do not transmit this data to any external servers.
Jam Chess uses Google Play Services to support core app functionality.

We do not control how third-party services handle data.
Since we do not collect or store personal data, we do not retain any user data on our servers.
All data remains on your device unless you delete the app.
Jam Chess is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

You may remove all app data at any time by uninstalling the application.
