Jam Chess ("Jam Chess", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Jam Chess mobile application on supported platforms, including Android and iOS.

A permission being categorized by Android as location-related does not mean Jam Chess uses the feature to determine or track your physical location.
On Apple devices, Jam Chess may use Apple's local networking and Multipeer Connectivity technologies to discover and communicate with nearby Jam Chess devices using technologies such as Wi-Fi, peer-to-peer networking, and Bluetooth.
Jam Chess may request Local Network, Bluetooth, or similar system permissions where required by iOS or iPadOS.
Information exchanged during local multiplayer may include information necessary to establish the connection and conduct the chess game, such as peer/device information, connection state, chess moves, and game state.
This local multiplayer information is used to provide the multiplayer session and is not used by Jam Chess for advertising tracking.
Jam Chess processes game-related information necessary to provide its chess features. This may include:
Chess positions and moves
Puzzle progress
Training progress
Opening or repertoire information

Stockfish engine analysis

Some game information may be stored locally on your device.
Where an online or account-based feature requires server communication, information necessary to provide that feature may be transmitted to the relevant service. Therefore, users should not assume that every feature or every piece of app data is exclusively stored on the device.
Stockfish analysis may be performed locally where supported and does not by itself require Jam Chess to send your chess positions to an advertising service.

RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, app user identifiers, subscription information, and related transaction information required to provide these services.
Jam Chess may use Google AdMob to display and measure advertisements.
