Required Materials

Materials are due by Aug. 18, 2025, or the second day of class with Ms. Jalufka if joining after the first week of school. 

All students are required to have the following supplies for English I with Ms. Jalufka:

1. Charged Chromebook (bring your Chromebook charger; Ms. Jalufka does not have spares)

2. Composition notebook, college-ruled (to be left in the classroom)

3. Pens in an easy-to-read color (no yellow, pale pastels, or neons)

4. Highlighters

5. Colored pencils

6. Dedicated English I folder and/or section in binder

7. Notebook paper, college-ruled (kept in folder or binder)

8. Planning system of some kind to keep track of assignments, due dates, etc. If you'd like a student planner on Google Slides, please let Ms. Jalufka know.

9. One of the following three supplies, depending on when you have English I this year:

   1. Blocks 3B & 4B: Post-It Notes, 3x3, any color except black (please no transparent) (1 pad)

   2. Blocks 4A & 5th: 1 black dry erase marker

   3. Blocks 2A & 3A: Kleenex or other facial tissues (1 box)

Back-up pens and highlighters will be available to students. These will be replenished at the beginning of each grading period. Once they are gone, they are gone until the next grading period. Please remember to bring your supplies with you to class each day. I will have broad-tip markers available for in-class use as needed.
