Born in Boston, before moving to Rhode Island, Jalisa has been creating art for the majority of her life. Primarily a mixed media artist, most of her work is made with watercolor, acrylic paint, and clay. Jalisa likes to explore the emotional aspects of life in her work. 

Currently, Jalisa is working towards her AFA at the Community College of Rhode Island.
