JMCHC was established to respond to the urgent need for accessible maternal and child health services in a rural setting. For nearly two decades, the initiative has grown from community-driven efforts into a recognized local health centre serving families who otherwise face barriers to healthcare access.

The Centre is supported by SPSolidaria, an international solidarity organization that has worked hand in hand with the people of Jalangbereh for over 25 years. Together, the community and partners have demonstrated that sustainable development is possible when solutions are locally driven and internationally supported.

JMCHC is not only a place for treatment; it is a space for dignity, prevention, education, and hope.
