I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at the University of Liverpool. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS). I received Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in August 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Osea Giuntella. My research interests lie at the intersection of labor economics, health economics, political economy, and criminology, with a particular focus on the causes and consequences of international migration, organized crime, and criminal behavior in general.
