WORK AND ETC.

During the summer of 2021, I got to work for the Count Basie Center for the Arts as a cameraman who got to spend three days, one day of every 2 weeks apart, to film the behind the scenes of the staff and the students setting up the plays they did each week and from the bottom of my heart it was one of the greatest experiences I had in terms of filmmaking, using my own camera and making each video.  

Each video is supposed to be a “recap” of sorts over the summer and using one 7 hour SD card that probably took 5 - 6 hours of footage from it, I was able to edit each one for each group and make something different each time. In all honesty each student was impressive in their performances and the hard work paid off in my opinion for how it all came together. Thanks to everyone who allowed me to do this and I hope they enjoy watching these when they get them. 

As for me, I am legally allowed [to my knowledge] to publish to my website and the best way for people to see my latest work in how much I’m improving my camera and editing skills over the years is watching these videos. I don’t plan to profit off of it, even if I could, and I only hope people enjoy watching them as I enjoyed having to rewatch it several times during the editing process
