Jacob Geivett Biography
Jake Geivett received his Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Special Education from CSU, CHICO in December 2009. To further his education he went on to get a Masters of Arts in Education with an Emphasis in Special Education in May 2013. Jake has received the following credentials:

Jake has served in the following capacities while working in education:

- Washington Unified District Education Representative for the Community Advisory Committee - Yolo County SELPA,
- Graduation Coordinator for River City High School,
- President of River City High School School Site Council,
- Representative on the Washington Unified District Technology Advisory Committee,
- Representative on the Washington Unified District Safety Committee.
Jake has experience working in a wide range of educational environments from when he was a special education teacher of students ranging from Kindergarten through adult age students, being a middle school special education teacher, and a high school special education teacher and department chair at a large comprehensive high school with a student population of 2000. Currently, Jake is the Learning Director for the East Nicolaus Joint Union High School District located in Sutter County, CA. East Nicolaus High School is the only high school in the district and has a student population roughly around 310 students. In the capacity of being the Learning Director Jake serves as an administrator, academic advising, and handles anything that has to do with learning at the school.
