Early Exploration
I set out to explore the corporate world, attempting to create a game stemming from this idea. This lead me to learn more and more about the structures of factions, departments and the corporate lifestyle.
The Downfall of OMNICO is a fast paced, satirical card game that looks to reflect on the absurdities of corporate life. It attempts to both entertain viewers/players, and encourage reflection on the ideas raised.
The game consists of 5 factions, The Magnates, The Runners, The Negotiators, The Leeches and The Gremlins. Each group represents a different department, and their hierarchy is based around those set structures.
The goal of the game, is to collect full factions in order to take over the office space and be crowned the winner. The game involves different wild and action cards, that create chaos and make the experience more fun.Â
