I'm Jake Fiedler, an L. E. Dickson Instructor at the University of Chicago. I completed my PhD in 2026 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I was advised by Betsy Stovall. My main areas of interest are geometric measure theory and harmonic analysis more broadly, and I often study questions in these areas using a set of tools from algorithmic information theory, especially Kolmogorov complexity.
