My Piano Journey

I started learning the piano in 2009 at the age of 8 - I practised classical music and did the ABRSM examination board.

My piano teacher advised that I should do the exams for all of the grades (1-8), as well as the required theory exams. In 2017, I finally completed my grade 8 exam & I fortunately achieved a distinction! 

Anime & Piano

I've always watched some mainstream animes, like Naruto, as far as I can remember, but I only started watching it properly in 2013. It was from then that I started to learn anime music on the piano - Openings, Endings & OSTs.

One of the first anime piano channels I came across was Josh Agarrado - not only did I think he was talented at playing the piano, but he also had a website where he shared a lot of piano sheet music for free, which was amazing for me! 

Eventually, when I started getting better at playing the piano, I began to learn arrangements from Animenz - possibly the most popular anime pianist on YouTube. His arrangements are extremely difficult but practising them definitely helped me to improve after Grade 8. 

At the start of 2021, I finally decided to start my own YouTube channel & post my own piano arrangements with free sheet music, so that my viewers can learn my covers - just like how I learnt arrangements from Josh Agarrado & Animenz. 

I understand the frustration of wanting to play a certain anime song on the piano, but then finding out that there are no arrangements/sheet music for that song! To prevent this happening to you, I'll try to create as many arrangements as possible from every season starting from Winter 2021. :)

Furthermore, I didn't want my arrangements to be too easy and also not too difficult, so when I saw comments mentioning this, it made me really happy! Of course, some of my piano covers might still be too difficult/easy for some people but nevertheless, I hope that all of you will be able to learn at least one of my arrangements & have fun with it!
