Elevator Pitch:
Hello, my name is Dr. Jake Bergquist. I am a researcher in the field of cardiovascular engineering. I seek to apply scientific computing in the form of computational modeling, machine learning, optimization, machine learning, and data analysis to address challenges and questions in the field of cardiology. My research focuses include analysis of electrocardiogram data using machine learning, electrocardiographic imaging, uncertainty quantification, patient specific digital twin modeling, and exploring the mechanistic underpinning of processes such as myocardial ischmia, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and sudden cardiac death.
Outside of research and science, I like to make things, like ceramics. See here for examples.
