The League for the International Appreciation of Trees (LIAT) is a non-profit, non-religious global initiative to educate the world about the importance of trees.

We aim to carry out ambitious educational initiatives to help children understand how trees are important to the world around them, and encourage the wider population to spend more time around trees, taking advantage of the many physical and mental health benefits they offer to us.

Based in the UK, our projects have a universal appeal and aim to benefit all of humanity by increasing knowledge and promoting better understanding of nature.

LIAT incorporates the Tree Fun Facts project.
