Rosoboronexport JSC (part of the Rostec State Corporation) presented the latest models of Russian naval equipment and coastal surveillance and defence system to foreign customers during the tenth anniversary International Maritime Defense Show (IMDS 2021) in St. Petersburg.
Additionally, Rosoboronexport held a public presentation at its stand entitled "New Approaches to Anti-UAV System Construction", during which company specialists presented a new integrated solution: A system capable of effectively countering the actions of drones, combining electronic warfare means and air defence systems of various classes.

A Bal system has four self-propelled launcher vehicles each carrying eight missiles for a total of 32 missiles in a salvo, plus reloads for another wave.
