Jainisha Sankhavara

I am currently pursuing my PhD in the area of Biomedical Information Retrieval, from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, India under Prof. Prasenjit Majumder. At DA-IICT I am a part of the research group IR LAB which is actively involved in research in the areas of Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics.

Previously I completed my Masters in Information and Communication Technology from DA-IICT in the area of Machine Intelligence. I defended my M.Tech thesis titled "Query expansion in biomedical information retrieval" in July, 2015. I have completed my Bachelor in Technology from Computer Engineering department, Dharmsinh Desai University in 2013.
