I am an economist at the financial stability department of Banco de Portugal. I graduated from Paris School of Economics and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne with a Ph.D. in economics in November 2021. Research Interests. My research interests lie at the intersection of international macroeconomics, financial intermediation, and macro-finance. I study issues related to the international monetary system, including capital flow fluctuations, the global financial cycle, and international financial spillovers.
At the same time, my work has expanded to include credit markets, firm dynamics, and financial stability, with a focus on empirical and policy-relevant questions. I am particularly interested in how financial conditions and credit allocation affect firm and household behavior, as well as broader economic outcomes.
