I am Jaime Gómez, a postdoctoral researcher in Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems. My research focuses on symbolic dynamics, ergodic theory, group actions, and occasionally on random walks and thermodynamic formalism, as well as their connections with probability. 

Since October 2024, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in the Probability Theory Group at Leiden University, under the mentorship of Dalia Terhesiu. 

I completed my Ph.D. studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) under the supervision of María Isabel Cortez.
