I am Jaime Gómez, a postdoctoral researcher in Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems. My research focuses on Toeplitz subshifts on countable non-amenable groups and their connections with probability theory. 

Since October 2024, I have been a postdoctoral researcher in the Probability Theory Group at Leiden University, under the mentorship of Dalia Terhesiu. 

I completed my Ph.D. studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) under the supervision of María Isabel Cortez.
