1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Jagsin Magnifying Glass (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) handles information when you use our Android magnifier application.

Jagsin Magnifying Glass does not require an account, login, or registration. Zoom, flashlight, OCR, and text-to-speech work without signing in. Questions: info@jagsin.in

Text recognition uses Google ML Kit. ML Kit sends device and app details, performance data, and a per-install identifier to Google for diagnostics. This app does not send the camera frame or the recognised text.

2. Information We Collect

• No accounts: We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or login credentials.

• Camera: The camera is used on your device for live magnification. Camera frames are processed locally. We do not upload live camera video to our servers.

• On-device text recognition (OCR): If you freeze a frame to read text, recognition runs on your device. Recognized text stays on the device unless you copy, speak, or save it yourself.

• Text-to-speech: Spoken text is processed on your device for accessibility. We do not send that audio to our servers.

• Saved photos: If you take and save a photo, the image is stored on your device at your request.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide magnification, flashlight, OCR, and speech features on your device

• Save a photo only when you tap save

• Notify you if a newer Play Store version is available

• Respond to support emails you send us

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads in this App.

4. Permissions

• Camera: live magnifier view, freeze-frame OCR, and optional photo capture. Required for the core magnifier feature.

• Flashlight / torch: optional lighting while magnifying.

• Photos / storage (as required by Android version): to save a captured photo on your device.

• Internet: optional Play Store update check and opening our developer page.

5. Data Storage and Security

Camera preview, OCR text, and saved photos remain on your device. We do not operate user accounts or cloud backups for this App. You can delete saved photos from your device storage and clear app data in Android settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

Jagsin Magnifying Glass is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
