Jagajyoti is an Assistant Professor in the National Centre for Disaster Mitigation & Management at MNIT Jaipur. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and as an Institute postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. His research interests include structural vibration control, active and semi-active vibration control, real-time seismic diagnostic systems, soil-structure interaction, and large-scale earthquake testing.
He completed his M.Tech.+Ph.D. in June 2022 from the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur. Before that, he did B.Tech from NIT Rourkela. During his Masters, he worked in soil-structure interaction and seismic vulnerability assessment.
