I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). My research interests lie in statistical and mathematical approaches to analyzing, understanding, improving, and developing AI. In particular, I focus on optimal transport theory and its applications in machine learning, especially in generative modeling. These include optimal transport maps, diffusion models, flow matching, and Schrödinger bridges. Additionally, I am interested in understanding AI models through geometrical analysis, with a focus on the structure of latent spaces.
