I’m Jade Erickson, a published author, poet, and artist from Northeast Wisconsin. My work is rooted in empathy, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the experiences that shape us. As a trauma survivor, mother, and social justice advocate, I use writing and art to explore grief, hope, the human experience, and the connections that remind us we are not alone.
My debut chapbook, Coffee With Grief, is an illustrated collection exploring loss, memory, and the complicated journey of learning to live alongside grief. Through each poem and image, I hope to create a space where readers feel seen, understood, and accompanied.
I find inspiration in nature, healing, and the quiet stories woven into everyday life. My work often explores themes of compassion, justice, growth, and the ways we continue to bloom even after difficult seasons.
I am a member of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets (WFOP) and a contributor and volunteer for fsm. an independent journal for the arts. Through poetry, art, and community, I hope to create meaningful connections and remind others that even the hardest chapters can hold moments of beauty.
