Hey everyone, I like to thank you for being patient with me during my game dev. journey. I'm still eager to learn new ideas and techniques with my first game. However, I haven't been in a good headspace these past few weeks. Let me explain...
I tend to overload myself with academic, personal, and game dev. responsibilities, also family drama, to the point my disposition slowly changed as I've become more stressed, snappier, impatient, and dismissive towards others - friends and family. It has come to a point where my friends started to notice as soon as they noticed firsthand. I never bring up drama towards my family as I don't want either of them give me non-sensical lectures that doesn't have any logic to my personal stress, regardless. To those I deeply affected with my uncomfortable disposition, I would foremost apologize towards what I said and reacted. I want this to be a proper apology without any excuses I mentioned before while being transparent about my personal conditions. I'll be better and I will try my best to keep my promise and advice my friends gave me.
In the meantime of writing this, Spring break will be coming soon and I want the entire week to be an opportunity for me to enjoy myself and have a break from everything that's happening. Moreover, "Archipelago of Fates" is still in progress, just at a snails pace. But I'll try my best to be better.

How is it going there, JadeSeer fans? While 2025 kickstarts for everyone, some negative news I have to disclose regarding JadeSeer:
First, my gaming laptop has encountered a problem. After a Window's update, I couldn't type anything, this means letters, numbers, spacebars, symbols, and enter (minus the function key and commands). So I took it to a PC repair shop to get the problem solved, only to figure out it's a software issue (basically, Window's fault). It was a bit costly, but it's worth the repair.
Moreover, I'm having a rocky start with my current semester as I'm in a new university (that I've been in previously during the start of COVID) and in hopes of having most of my courses that I took from my previous institution will be transferred and I can graduate with a bachelors soon. There are other problems regarding my education, but I'll stop right here for now.
Get ready for the worst part: I lost my all my project data. I learned that saving files locally from the c-drive is a bad idea as they couldn't back anything under the c-drive. So that means we're back to square one. This time, I'm going to save my project both USB hard drive and locally on the documents tab. I'm not gonna use cloud or online storage (google drive, mega, dropbox, etc.) as I fear my files will get corrupted if I tampered with the path directory. Don't worry, I'm still determined as I'm willing to make it better than before!
Anyhow, while these problems are prominent, this won't stop me from releasing the demo soon! I know I said that I will release it before 2024 ends, but due to personal responsibilities, conflicts, and drama, it's been hard. But no worries, I won't give up on this dream! Stay safe! Stay smart!

Hi there, JadeSeer fans! People (just me lol) at JadeSeer wish you a wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, your friends, and your family. Christmas is for everyone! Except... if you're naughty, then that's gonna be a different story.
Moreover, the development of the "Archipelago of Fates" is ongoing as I recently remade the NPC interactions and SFXs (Footsteps, ambiance, etc.). As I hope to release an early sneak peek demo of the game, I'm uncertain that the game will be released before the end of 2024. I did, however, say and hoped to do so, but please remember that I'm developing this game all by myself at the time I'm writing this. My plans to make my game stand out will be as grand since I'm using the default RTP given to RPG Maker engines. While it looks good on paper, it won't stand out to grab the audience's attention. But major graphical and sound changes will be for another major update unless I have the time and energy (I'm swamped with personal family matters; trying to have more time with everything).
However, I do hope to do so before 2024 ends. If not, early January 2025.

Hello there, JadeSeer Fans! I want to give everyone a brief reminder a Happy Thanksgiving! Even if you don't celebrate it, everyone deserves to be thankful; from families to friends!
Also, regarding the upcoming game Archipelago of Fates, development is still in progress, but at a slow pace due to personal dailies and a few conflicts I encountered. I'm still persistent! I'm not giving up! I have to reiterate most scenes & organize the coding here & there. It will take, but I hope to finish this before 2024 ends!
Anyhow, Happy turkey & pumpkin pie everyone. :D

Spreading the news about an upcoming indie developer making one game might be excessive, but more exposure will benefit building a community/audience while it's in development. As I said to my friends and others familiar with the development of the "Archipelago of Fate," I've explained that I intended to release the game once the first chapter is complete. However, I changed my plans and decided to release a prequel demo of the RPG before the end of 2024. This might be a sudden change, but the reasoning for this decision is that I want to give the audience a quick introduction to what they're going to experience about "Archipelago of Fate" and deliver excitement. However, note that this introductory demo may not be final and many features and assets are subject to change.

After many trials and tribulations (minus the unfinished empty product links and subpages there are), I have now considered viewable enough to make this website public. Now the website I'm creating does look half-baked, but I'm quickly learning the use of Google Sites and its somewhat limiting features to push it to its limit. However, this will take much time and effort to create, so please be patient as I roll out some chunk-sized updates. The reason why I'm doing this and not fully finished the entire website is because of two things:
Gain exposure not only to my website but also to my first game that I'm making: "Archipelago of Fate" - an adventurous JRPG.
Push updates through my website and add readable texts for users to read while accessing the website.
As I create my first game, I will showcase a trailer for "Archipelago of Fates." There is no release date yet, but I plan to finish this before the end of 2024. Hopefully, I will keep my word.
