VCAA STUDY DESIGN: The media is ubiquitous in today’s world. Working on a personal, local, national and global level, media is deeply embedded within life and culture. It entertains, teaches, informs, and shapes audiences’ perception of their lives and the worlds in which they live.

I truly believe that Media is an important, valuable subject. It is current and relevant and all students already consume so much of it. However, often they don't have the skills to decipher the messages or analyse the meaning. That's what makes Media such a great subject.
