My name is Jade Baca, and I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All my life I've wanted to learn something new, and try my best to master new skills. But when I reached an obstacle, I would often wonder: what's the next step? How can I learn something I simply didn't understand?
The solution for me was communication. I believe anyone can be taught something new if it is explained in a technical way. This is why my field of work is Technical Communication. When someone hits an obstacle, I want to be there to help.
My mission statement is to write, edit and design so that your audience understands what you want them to say. So, what do you say? Let's get started.
I am huge fan of exploring new cultures to improve interdisciplinary communications. This past October I traveled to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka to expose myself to Japanese culture. This experience was enlightening -- to travel in a country where foreigners can get around so easily was an incredible example of communication that both inspired and humbled me. To be a part of the downtown area, to play in arcades around every corner, and to eat the marvelous food-- that was a dream come true! I simply cannot wait to return.
Alongside my travel interests I am an avid crocheter. I love to bullet journal and scrapbook as well! Recently, I have begun reading Stephen King.
