Building permits and Approval

For any project to commence officially , the proposed design and drawings should be under the prevailing By-Laws and rules of concerned and local authorities . In context of Nepal , the buildings drawings and maps are approved from Municipality level . Once all the drawings and documentation is concluded , it needs to be submitted in concerned municipality for processing of permit and getting APPROVALS for construction. Taxes for approval varies from each municipality , which is charged on per sq. ft . basis. In any case if the design has to be changed , the changes should be approved by municipality (SAMSODHAN ).

It is mainly divided into :
1. Approval upto DPC ( Asthai Ijajt )
2. Approval for superstructure ( Sthai Ijajat )
3. Building completion Cetificated ( Nirman sampanna )

All these service is provided by the company itself  by signing POA(Power Of Attorney ) (Warisnama ) , to legally be representative on your behalf at municipality and ward offices.

Note: In few municipalities like Kathmandu Metropolitan city , Lalitpur Metropolitan City , and other few Ebps ( Electronic Building Permit System is also in effect.
