Bio

Jacquelyn Putchat currently resides in Helena, Montana. She is graduating with her Associates of Art, Spring 2023, from Helena College, University of Montana. She has been featured in the Helena College Art Showcase and was awarded Grand Champion for her artwork in 4-H. She plans to go into freelancing and continue her art education. Artist Statement

My work captures moments in time as a way of recording memories and experiences of human interactions. I use people or characters that I personally relate with to add a sense of intimacy and understanding for the viewer that what they are seeing has now moved on. My works are a journal of inspiration, muses, and my headspace at the time. I create works in a stylized realism that speaks to the passage of time and its ephemeral nature.
