For this production, I embraced a strict minimalist aesthetic to center the audience's attention entirely on the characters' internal arcs. The visual storytelling was anchored by a key directorial choice: each character clung to a single, significant prop - a physical tether to their identity- which was only released at the moment of their death. 

Staged in the Mini Theatre, I utilized the room's stark black rehearsal furniture to construct the world of the play. By reconfiguring simple elements- a table, a couch, and several hollow cubes- we created a mutable landscape. In a pivotal scene, these black cubes were arranged to suggest the rigid geometry of a jail cell, physically manifesting the cold emptiness of confinement without the need for a more literal set.
