I grew up in rural Northern Wisconsin. My single mother raised me and my brother the best she could. Around the age of 12 she dragged us to church. At the age of 15, I gave my heart to the Lord and dedicated my life to Him. The past ten plus years has been a whirlwind of trauma healing and growing into who God has made me to be. It's been a hard process, but worth every tear drop and emotional breakthrough poured into the pages of my books.
In 2021, after the horrendous world changing event called COVID, life fell apart for most of us. The Lord told me I had a book to write to help others. I disagreed, but soon He filled my spirit with notes which led to my first book, "Built for This." Reading it now makes me cringe. It was certainly my first book, but it has a lot of great important info about my life and things the Lord taught me during that time in my life.
Since then I have learned so much about writing and myself. This author journey has brought things up within me that I never knew existed, both good and bad. Through each life experience I've faced, the trials, tests, and great life changing events, I've discovered who God is and now that propels me to share Him and His Goodness with the world.
One night I had a dream, which isn't uncommon now, which played out like a movie. I immediately thought it would make a great book idea. I prayed about it, sought the Lord, and He confirmed the dream would be made into a book, which turned into Cat Got Your Tongue. I quickly got to work on writing said book. It only took one week! The Holy Spirit spoke to me while I wrote. He gave me ideas and directed the story, similar to how He directs our story. That story became a three piece series which launched my self publishing author career. I started getting book ideas regularly! I now have a journal of over twenty book ideas and still get dreams, visions, and ideas pop up within my spirit.
Each story is centered around Jesus and how He can heal people with trauma. I believe these books will help readers overcome in their life and know they aren't alone while reading an entertaining book. The ideas the Lord provides me represent possible real life stories of those who don't know where to turn or how to survive trauma.
I'm so blessed to have this gift and be able to write things to share with the world. I hope this gave you a view into me and my process of writing the books you see here. Thank you for being with me on this journey! I am so happy to have you here.
Much Love,
Jacqueline Fieck
